it will say month and year of the build right on the driver door sticker....there may be 2 sticker one for the tire pressures and one for gross vehicle weight rating....the date will be on the later....the format, if built in december 2008 will be 12/08

or you could try the vin decoder on this site under tools

 

The vehicle was built in Canada and has a different kind of sticker on it, no dates at all.

 

All the first generation (2005-2009) Equinoxes were built in Canada. That's why all of their VINs start with 2. There should be a sticker on the driver's door that has the production date on it. If you're not seeing it, it was removed by somebody.

If it still has the original coolant hoses on it I have found that there are production dates stamped on those.
