New here and need help with steering column
I have a 2006 Chevy Equinox and I’m having trouble lining up the metal panel at the end of the steering column. The one that connects to the firewall. There are 4 bolts coming through the firewall and the plate doesn’t seem to want to line up and go back on so I can reattach the nuts. Is there an easy way to do this that I’m missing or is it just trying until it works out? Thank you so much for any help you can give!
