Default No Brake Lights when running

Has anyone had the no brake light problem when the Engine is running ?
My Mom has A 2008 Equinox LT and she took it to the dealer for A intermittent Brake light problem .
The car was bought from the Chevy used car lot and she purchased A warranty . They replaced the pedal switch and the problem was still there It got sent to A Chevrolet New car Dealership and they Diagnosed it as the Fuse Block under the hood ,
My nephew has worked as A parts counter sales person for A Chevrolet Dealership here in town for the past 10 years I purchased the Fuse Block form him and the Problem is still the same
Brake lights when the key is on but when you start the car the brake lights go out
Is the Problem in the BCM ?
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
Kinda disappointed in the Dealerships ability to properly Diagnose the Problem .
Thanks MarkTurner

Welcome from Florida. Your mom has a warranty on the car. They tried to fix it once and failed. Take it back, they have to fix it.

The Chevrolet dealership covered the Brake light switch .
But they claim the Fuse Block was not covered
They wanted 1367.00 to replace the Fuse Block under the hood which they Diagnosed to be the Problem
Wrong I bought one from A different Dealership and installed it to come up with the same problem .
The Dealership is not helping in any way .
