Question Odd complication

I just bought a 2013 Equinox and for a while I thought the windshield washer fluid pump was not working, but it turns out it is. The problem is that when I activate the front washer fluid sprayer, it sprays the back window, and when I activate the back one, it sprays the front. As a result, if I ever need to clean one of them, I have to do both because, either way, one will spray and the other will wipe. Anyone know where the wires might be crossed?

Welcome from Florida. The wires are probably crossed at the switch.

Most likely the hoses were switched at the pump during a repair.

You might be able to see/access the pump hoses from underneath, but most likely you’ll need to Remove the driver side fender liner (wheel removal will make it easier but not required).

Refer to the illustration below - the rear washer hose connects to the front of the pump and the windshield washer connects to the rear of the pump.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, it’s possible the wrong pump was installed and/or the wiring at the connector was switched. I can advise you on the next steps if needed.

Because the wiring is via a molded connector it's more likely the hoses were reversed when the pump was previously replaced.

Just got an 07. Driver nozzle was plugged. I cleaned it out gently but spray is way off. Just dribbles. I swapped pass for driver nozzle but I think angle of spray is different on each side? Looks like new nozzle time.

Try using compressed air to blow it out. Rinse it a couple of times and use the air on it a few times in between rinses.

.Agree. Most likely the front and rear hoses are switched.
