oil level high fate oil change 2003 chevy

My oil level is slightly high on the dipstick when cold and level. My engine is the 5.3 vortec. I had 6 quarts put in including a filter fill. Is it a problem?

You are posting this in the Equinox section....where no 5.3L engines exist.
