2015 chevy equinox and the paint is bubbling near my driver side wheelwell also noticed rust spots around rear license plate and a chip on the tailgate im sure the dealer will say " a rock" how can a 2015 has so many paint issues? would this be covered under the warranty

 

The sheet metal has a rust-through coverage for 6yrs/100,000 miles. It may be covered under that, but you'd have to check with a dealership. Rust starting to form isn't much of a surprise to me on a 6-year old vehicle. It's pretty common here in the middle of the rust belt, especially on vehicles that aren't regularly washed.
