They dont want you to replace it. If you have a battery operated dremal tool put a small cutting blade on it and cut the bracket so you can swivel the two parts away. you then pull the pvc valve out and put the new one in. Then you swivel the bracket back into place to hold the pcv valve in. It worked for me and it took about 5 mins to do the cutting. A new pcv is about 5 dollars at the partsource store (Canada). Total time to change the pcv when all is said and done about 15 mins.
Thankfully I bought a cheap valve cover from RockAuto. The supposed PCV valve built into the valve cover, is only a ported hole. If it were ever to get clogged just take off the rubber hose and spray carb cleaner in there. Unlike traditional PCV valves there is no bearing no spring it is just a port. With pliers and some Force you can pull this 'valve' out, advance Auto has a replacement, whole lot cheaper than replacing the whole valve cover.
While in there I looked at my spark plugs number one seem to be a bit dirty.
