Default valve covers

hey guys i have a 79 k10 I'm restoring. I have to change my valve covers cause they are bent and leaking. I would love to have the original ones but chevy discontinued them. So I'm going with some aftermarket ones. My problem is the pcv system. The valve covers i want aren't set up for it. I know what it does, and it isn't something i want to get wrong. So my question is how can i go about changing it so the new covers will work?

Buy a pcv valve grommet from autozone (or wherever), take it, and valve cover to a machine shop. Have them punch a hole in it.
