Default powering down while driving

I am at a lost of words on how disappointed I am with my Chevy Equinox truck. The check engine light kept coming on, as well the service traction control, and service stablitrak lights. I had the codes read and spent $1,600 changing a bunch of sensors. A week later after I thought I fixed everything the same lights came on. Worst part I can't pass inspection with the lights on my dashboard so I am not able ti drive the car without inspection. Lastly, the car is unsafe to drive because the problem always appears while driving in highways and the engine always shut down when that happens. From researching this problem on this forum it seemed this is a common issue with this brand. As anyone found a solution they can share so I can get this car on the road without going bankrupt trying to fix phantom problems? Or is Chevy looking for a class action lawsuit? Thanks

I have an 07 Equinox that had similar problems but never had a loss of power. I replaced the EGR valve and tube. I pulled the throttle body off and cleaned the EGR passage. Finally, I replaced the throttle body. All of these repairs helped but problem still persists if I run the car with the cruise set at 73 mph or higher. I believe you can have the pcm reprogrammed but don't want to spend any more money on it. I bought a Blue Driver sensor and downloaded their app to my cell phone. If I go on an extended road trip, I take the sensor with. When my service traction control light comes on, I clear the codes using the Blue Driver app. The app was free. The sensor cost $100.00. Look them up online and see if you want to make that investment.
