Is anyone towing behind their Equinox? I want to buy a pop up camper and not sure if my Equinox will tow it. Is anyone towing a camper? If so let me know what kind.

 

Check your owners manual.
Year, engine size and FWD or AWD are the big variables. My '16 3.6 is rated for 3500 lb. .

 

Thanks for the response, here is what Info I have, 2.4L FWD, tongue weight 675, max gross trailer weight 4500. This is my daughters car
and she was asking me if I thought she could pull a pop up camper. She had pulled a dble seater wave runner before, but I sure a lot lighter
than a pop up.
