Transmission is causing my car to jerk when i try to accelerate.
Ive had my 2007 Equinox since last July 3rd, and I have loved it. It being my first newer car i have taken great care of this car such as oil changes when needed and tuneups when needed, but about a month or two ago i noticed a slight jerk when i accelerate esp when im running the A/C at just half. Well that slight jerk has turned into not being able to accelerate with out having to step on my break cause im trying to keep up with traffic and i cant cause my car wont accelerate like it should cause the jerking is keeping me from keeping with the flow of traffic. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

check engine light on? if so post the codes.
it could be possible misfire from a cracked spark plug insulator which is common. if you get one or multiple codes such as p0300, p0301, p0302 etc to p0306; that's what i would suspect.

Running AC at "half" is irrelevant... The compressor doesn't care.
I take a lot of "breaks" at work...but never a "brake" at work.
So you have to step on your brake pedal to accelerate?!
