I am having a starting/cranking issue with my 2000 malibu.

The car will not crank at first. I have to keep trying and eventually it will crank and start. The starter is getting no juice at all when it does not crank. This began about 1 year ago and has gotten worse since. Now I have to try to start the car for 2 mins before it'll finally crank/start.

I've replaced:
Battery - 6 months old
Starter - 2 years olds
Ignition switch - 1 month old

I've checked:
fuses
battery connection

I'm read some posts and am thinking that replacing the passlock ignition cyclinder should be my next path.

Also to clarify; I've noticed that when i turn my ignition to the 'ON' position that sometimes the theft light will come on and remain solid until I try to start the car. Other times the theft light will not come on when turning the ignition to the 'ON' position.
If it helps I've also gotten the passlock 10 min lockout one time about 4 months a go. Maybe this points to something?
