Remove the front transmission mount for much easier access to the dipstick. The dipstick is held in with 12mm bolt.
Use Toyota T-IV fluid. You'll need to buy 5 quarts for a drain & refill. You'll actually use just under 4 1/2 quarts (service manual says 4.29 qts).
There is a fill/vent tube, but you'll probably find it easier to refill it through the dipstick opening. Make sure you have a funnel with a long, flexible spout.
