thanks for the info Greenfire and of course Canucklehead. Ironically you say 215/75/15 is the minimum tire size. I have a set of BFG All-Terrains from my now dead Safari Van but my tire Guy said they were too small. You say these are the minimum size for my 1500. I don't travel in the winter but I do agree bigger is better. Could i use these BFGs for a winter or 2 until I buy a new set of tires?

I just checked the tires and they are load range C and marked 97s. Will these fit the bill?

Based on all the info posted, Id say you are good to go with either set of tires. Just make sure the old BFGs aren't dry rotted.

No they are good. My Tire Guy looked at them and said they are still good, but then thought they were too small. i think he saw a sale of 4 new ones coming.
