Question 93 Sport Van (Beauville) - Oil leaks all over engine bottom, stalled + hard start

Hello,

Bought a beat up van. Thinking it's a crankshaft seal leak? Been leaking slowly for a little while now.
It looks like the oil is coating a large area on the underside of the engine. Would a crankshaft seal kinda spray it all over?

Yesterday it ran good to the store, then failed had a lot of hard starts, and stalling when accelerating quickly.

Would the crankshaft seal cause these stalls? Or would this maybe be multiple issues I'm looking at now?

Thanks a bunch.

My guess is multiple issues. I can't see an oil leak affecting running unless you're way low on oil. As for the leak itself, I'd wipe it real clean and check it after a short cruise.

Front main seal leak will coat the underside of the engine as wind blows it back. High mileage oil may reduce it....
Hard start on a beater.....93. TBI right? Check the 2 injectors.....try cleaning and swapping them. Maybe the secondary is not working, so cold start and harder accel its leaning out....
