Regenerative braking would be cool. Same with smaller wiring harnesses. Aside from the things mentioned, for a few things (such as audio) I like this. It would be so much simpler.

I wonder, you get in a car accident, there are fuel fumes... broken wires... wouldn't they spark easier ?
