I tried installing the new led headlights. They didn't fit. There is not enough clearance between the back of the led fan and a piece of plastic on the van. My low beam EV reading was 8.5 at the hot spot, high beam 10.5, the led was 9.6. I took some pictures but I took them in RAW. Will upload later.

Can the plastic be cut? What is the plastic there for?

On the high beam side there's lots of room. I have to look at it again but going to wait until I go to work so I can grab a step up bit.

I really do not like LED lights. The factory specs are more than ample.

I think so too. I've never said to myself, gee my headlights aren't doing the job. And I don't stay on the asphalt either.
