when driving, if you pump the pedal does it firm up at all or remain low?

I ordered a new master cylinder and brake lines all around. They will be here tomorrow. I'll let you guys know if this fixes the problem. Thanks

It does seem to firm up a little but nothing like it should be.

if you apply and hold the brake, does the the pedal slowly sink to the floor? If yes, have someone watch the fluid level in the reservoir, does the volume of fluid rise in the m/c? Both are signs of an internal fault in the m/c.
