Just bought this....
Our new toy. Custom built 1990 Chevy 4X4 camper van. So cool! Really minimalist, and that's just fine and dandy! Sink, two burner stove, furnace, 3-way power fridge, an awning, solar panel battery charger on the roof, really comfy 6x6 bed that converts to two bench seats with a table, and extensive custom lighting. It has a stock 350 engine with headers and new dual exhaust. Runs great!

Air shocks on the rear. The previous owner did the 4X4 conversion. He and the guy that helped him build it make rock-crawlers. The chassis is a '77 chevy 3/4 ton.

1999 Chevy Express 3500 cargo
I have wanted to convert cargo van into a 4 wheel drive luxury excursion vehicle since I was a kid and I came across this window less beauty she has a 6.5 turbo diesel with a 4L80E transmission since i got it in september I put the wheels and tires, 7' touch screen head unit with back up camera, 10.1" samsung tablet mounted between the cup holders on the dog house, started putting dynamat extreme style sound deadening material the whole interior and installed a 3000w power inverter

Mikey- awesome van
Mikey- can you share some pics of the interior? I’m interested in building something similar but not a legit offroad van. A ‘dad van’ with a comfortable, conversion van-ish interior but more off-roadish exterior. I don’t really need 4x4 but would like a slight lift.

I dont have the interior in it except the front 2 seats I am in the process of installing sound deadening material when the weather permits it has to be above 60 degrees to stick and its winter here in the bootheel of Missouri so not got much of it done lol. I am going the dad van thing too that is literally why I started looking for a van me my son and my wife were all squeezing into a single cab chevy s10 and going to six flags st louis every weekend it got uncomfortable quick and anytime our son wanted to bring a friend I would have to rent a car and that got expensive quick so I decided to start looking for a cargo van to build and originally found a 1/2 ton 1994 Chevy vandura with the 6.2 diesel I bought it running and driving for $500 but the rear end went out on it while bringing it home then in the search for a rear end for it I stumbled across this chevy express for $750 and I bought it and started working on building it since I like the look of an express better but it's only a 2 wheel drive I just put the mud terrains on it for the look for now it will be a long time before I get to the point I start doing a 4 wheel drive conversion to it but I will post picks as I complete projects on it

I forgot to mention that it's not lifted it clears the 33X12.50XR18's with a little trimming to the fender wells in the front and I believe that after I replace the shocks it will stop rubbing when the wheels are fully turned and I hit a big bump
