New to me 2009 6.0 3500 extended. This is in the middle of the floor, 1st off what is it?
Why would it be a good idea to put in the middle of the floor. I’ve never seen it in any
other Chevy van I’ve had, I’m hoping removing will be possible? Lol doubt that!

lateral accelerometer and rollover sensors. (which you could have found by searching the numbers on them).
They need to be in that spot. They are required for traction control and stabilitrak.

Wow that kinda makes sense on their location. Still feel there must be a better place, guess that means that ALL vans from 2007 forward have
them placed there. Newer models with more sensors will take up even more floor space. Where will it end.

The carpet was wet, so have to find where water is getting in. Was in bad shape so ordered a new carpet from factory interiors, and some sound proofing from Amazon for good measure

I'm about to call and order the black vinyl option from them. Interestingly my sound deadening material came yesterday! Did you find out where the water came from? I would love to make sure mine does not have that same entrance before it gets all buttoned up!
Parallel universe... I also have an 09 6.0

Well 09 is a good year! “ Crossing fingers” I ran the sprinklers but no dice. Looks like we’re getting a good rain tomorrow, we’ll see what happens with that…
I had good shipping with FactoryInteriors now I just have to get off the floor and into the van.
