Default 03 Express 3500 6.0, Heat and AC come on BUT nothing coming out of vents…

2003 Chevy Express 3500 cargo with 6.0L

Problem:

When you turn on AC or heat, you can feel the temperature of either one, you just can’t feel ANY airflow actually coming from ANY of the vents.

Again, it seems then heat and ac “turn on” or “off” when you turn the ****.

But you cannot hear any type of force coming out tue vents or feel any type of forced air coming out the vents.

You will feel the cab of the van get warm or cold eventually.

Do you think this is a blower motor issue? Vacuum?

Any help is appreciated!

Thank you guys!

Yes. Have you tested every speed setting?
Check your fuses & relays.
If you whack the motor with a hammer and it starts up then it's seized.
Also check for fried speed resistors.

Thanks for replying!

Theres no change in anything when you turn the setting from high to low , low to high, or anything in between.

Fuses and relays appear to be good.

You mentioned that you can not hear any force of air but can you hear the fan blower running at all? If so, I'll bet it's the rubber vacuum line running from the vac ball under the battery back toward the back-top of the motor.
It just happened to me and I discovered that mice had developed a taste for mine. It was old and brittle too and mine is a 2012.
