i started noticing the sound a few months back very faintly right when i started up the van but it went away as i drove it. well now somedays it's louder than others which is weird but it's overall more noticeable. It sounds like a deep rumble rattle noise.

It sounds to me it could possibly be a pulley going bad but didn't know if anyone already know the sound i'm talking about and have it end up being something like a bad alternator pulley instead of the tensioner one. Or if it's something else.

The other day i was driving and it was quite audiable and was on the highway for a bit and the noise went away afterwards but then (this part could just be me being paranoid) it soundedf like an airy woosh sound when i accelerated from like 2mph o 15-20 quickly. the vehicle has no a/c and has about 170,000 miles on it

 

well this forum wasn't any help. I'ts a pulley, just not sure which one yet
