Im just tossing this out there. Would it be possible/worth while to swap out a tired old 4.3L TBI from a 1993 van for a 2000's 4.3L Vortec? I know the ECU & wiring harness would have to be changed with it. But...would this idea be feasible?

 

The newer vortec has a different engine computer, different ignition and fuel systems. To keep things simple you could just use the short block off the vortec and see if your heads and manifolds will fit. Then you don't have to change everything......
