1995 4L60E RPO M30 transmission "output shaft sleeve" or "yoke tube" installation
I am new to this forum and i have a pertinent question about installing my new rebuild 4L60E M30 transmission in my 1995 Chevy-van 20
the question is my new transmission did NOT come with the "output shaft sleeve" or "yoke tube" with it the old one had it
i saw online that i would need a kent-moore J-21426 output seal installation tool to do so , after checking that shaft i notice that there is a smooth portion of the output shaft that is near the speed sensor reluctance wheel where i think the tube might be pressed on.
Now HOW Deep is that tube needs to be inserted to the output shaft and what diy tool can i use to do so.
I have checked in instruction documents including everywhere on the net but did not find any Specs about it and so far found Nothing aside of the K-M installation tool J-21426
Here's a pic of one the tube already pressed on the output shaft not from my transmission
here's the output shaft Without the sleeve
here's the bare sleeve with it's O-ring
the last pic is the K-M J-21426
here's the link to the K-M J-21426 tool bellow
https://www.tillmantools.com/Kent-Mo...kmtj-21426.htm
BUT $219.00 is kind of pricy for a tool ill use only once
any reply appreciated

My research indicates that not all 4L60E's get the output shaft sleeve. It is model dependent. That's all I know for sure. Maybe transmissions mated to a transfer case don't get it.
For transmission that do have the sleeve, I think the sleeve rides the journal after the tone ring (the smooth machined section).
Instructions say "DO NOT position output shaft sleeve past machined surface of output shaft."
