1995 G 20 5.7 changed flywheel forgot to attach ground wires at bell housing drove now the trans wont shift and when turning on heater blower radio stops work for a second then it starts back after a couple of second this has never happened before just had the trans rebuilt last year hope that i havent burned it out any ideas?

I would take a dremmel or some sand paper and clean up both ends of the ground both the wire connector and block to be shiny metal. Then same at the frame.

put some dielectric grease on the connection if you can.

you could even run another wire to support the aging ground that’s there.

To test, you could get a pair of jumper cables and make a temporary ground.
