Default 1995 Chevy G20 Van idiot lights

Well my ABS light has been on for some time. Replaced the speed sensor at the back of the trans, but still on. Not sure where to go from here. Also, the brake light is on now. No problem with parking brake (that I know of) and the pads and shoes show a healthy amount of material. Any ideas? Anyone know what type of code reader works with these ole girls? Thanks! Marko

One of the "chain" auto parts stores may have the OBD1 reader. Many will offer to read the codes for free, if they have it. And the listing I found says your van is the older standard. Some cars switched over earlier than '95.

After you replaced them, did you unhook the battery for a few?

Have not replaced the wheel speed sensors other than the trans one. Waiting for them to arrive via mail ! Tried the battery trick after installing the trans sensor, no luck!
