1996 Chevrolet G-10 Work Van Wont Start
okay, new to the forum. Only came here cause I don't have a clue about this van. It will crank, but wont start. It was idling infront of a gas station, when I went into get a drink. When I came out, the lights were still on, but the engine had died. I attempted to crank it several times, but it wouldnt start. I let it cool for a good 30 minutes, just incase it was a heat/cooling problem, but it wouldnt crank. Any suggestions or ideas? I know it could be the fuel pump, but anything else I should check or possibly purchase?
fuses? any inside the cab that could be an issue? relays used by fuel pump? etc... and their location.
any help is much appreciated. Havent worked on this van at all. and I dont know much bout engines past my old 1962 C-10... electrical problems are beyond me.

didnt hear the fuel pump come to think of it, thing's been whining pretty loud lately. gonna try the hammer on the tank when it gets light out. If it'll get me home, I'm gonna grab a fuel pump and relay... cause I think its getting spark, but was too dark to check for sure. Could it be the distributor cap not sending spark?... How could I check spark? pull one plug and try to fire while watching the plug? or is there a better way/easier way to do it?
