Default 1996 Chevy express 1500. Running issues

19996 Chevy express 1500 van.50 engine. ok here's the story. Had check engine light come on.. took it to shop.. here's what was replaced . Fuel pump, all o2 sensors. Alternator, plugs, wires, distributer, spider injector,. Crank and cam sensors . And a couple more sensors I forget what they were.. Po175 bank 2 , po300 misfire, p1345 cam code are the codes before crank and cam sensors . Now I am getting a P1345 code.

This is the most recent scan

Everything can be found by searching the web. But you need to enter the codes correctly. They start with 'P' for powertrain and then a 4 digit number. So those should be leading zeros, not oh's.

P0175 mixture rich. that's a result of the misfires. Unburnt fuel going downstream.

if the camshaft doesn't correlate to the crankshaft, then your timing chain is worn out. That would be the cause of your misfire. Tired old engine with lots of miles, or poor maintenance history I'm guessing.

This is referred to as engine timing, and when they are out of sync, you have bad timing. in old chevys engine timing can require manually adjustment when and poor timing is the main cause of the P1345 engine code.

Sounds like you got hosed at the shop, most of those things have nothing to do with these codes.

These still have a distributor in them. Maybe you can loosen it and turn it a little to get the timing back where it belongs.

Lccow, are you able to share pictures of your distributor cap and also the rotor (with the cap removed) with the engine on TDC? I recently had the P1345 code due to my mistake aligning the distributor and now have a better understanding of where the rotor should be pointing when indexed correctly.
