Default 1999 Express 3500 - how to strip down to frame

Hey ya everyone!

I've got a 1999 Chevy Express 3500 that I picked up to use as a donor for a project I'm working on. I've picked up a 1954 Ford Vanette that I'm going to do a full swap with.

I need to strip it down to the chassis and power train. So, basically remove the body and everything.

Here's my question, how? What's the order of things to remove so I can remove the body without damaging anything that I'm going to need to keep

i would remove the steering shaft, master cylinder from the booster, rad hoses, electrical wiring from the body to the engine compartment, cab and body mounts to the frame...raise the body up and roll the chassis out.

Thanks. Kinda where I was thinking, but I've never done it, so I wanted to be sure and check in with smart folks on the internet. :-D

Have a look at this video "Pulling the engine on a snub nosed van"

They raise the body off of the frame and there some tips on what to disconnect before lifting.
