I just did a transmission swap. And the problem I am having is that now the van will not start. It cranks ? Fuel is good. Spark is fine from igniter but spark from distributor is inconsistent. But van was starting before swap. What cam be the problem?

 

What year what engine?

 

Its a 2000 chevy express 2500 5.0 liter

 

Did you pull the tranny from below? Did you have to undo any engine grounds? Sounds like engine electrical....

 

Yes tranny was pulled from bottom. I checked all plugs and ground . But I will check again. Thanks . I will let ya know the status
