Question 2000 Chevy Express Van Fuel Pressure Regulator Question

Hi, when I took off my upper intake manifold on my 2000 Chevy Express 1500 5.0, there was nothing attached to the Fuel Pressure Regulator Vacuum port.

Is that normal?

Yes I believe so. As I remember there was nothing attached to mine on my 5.7. It’s probably used on many other engines without spiders.

Thank you!

I think mine failed a long time ago, check out how just below that port is the only place inside the intake manifold where you can actually see aluminum. It has been spilling fuel out of that vacuum port, washing the aluminum clean.

Hopefully this will fix the no-start and drivability problems
