Edit: I think it might have been this one 🤔. I ordered the wrong one first and it was for the front passenger door. https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...tside-84084710
I ordered the first one from rockauto and the second from gmpartsdirect
Express / Savana newer sliding door handle on left with aluminum housing. GM 23473841
the lock on the right with the key , when the thief tried to break in , he just pushed the lock into the door , its only a small plastic piece holding it in ,
good thing was it just falls into the door cavity so the thief cannot pull it up !
My idea was to drill a hole and put a screw behind the center pin , so that it cannot be pushed in ....
Locks just keep honest people honest. I'd swap to the newer aluminum part because you need a new part. Do you have power door locks with a remote? Why do you even need to have a lock cylinder there at all other than the driver's door for a backup?
