I have heard ti has something to do with the drivers seat belt or a sensor. Can anyone guide me to more specific advice.
I am a little paranoid about anything to do with air bag having experienced its wrath first hand in an accident.

 

It could be a number of things. get the airbags faults codes read and then you will know where to start diagnosing.

 

Read the codes, it will tell you the exact reason.
Often times it is the frontal impact sensor, but still - read the codes, with Tech 2.
