At a total WAG i'd say it had something to do with cooling in the very tight doghouse on the vans. Or may be the 6L90 tranny in the vans v. the Allison in pickups.
Yes you have the LMM, and your door sticker willl show the build date of XX/09. Those are very rare and some of us here wish we could find a nice one. MY2010 built late 2009 is the only way to get a pre-DEF diesel van with a 6 speed transmission. Those had torque rating to 460 lbft, but in 2011+ they raised to 525 lbft. The 6L90 itself is rated to 525 lbft only, that's why engine is derated. Not because of cooling issues.
