Nice van !

First thing to suspect if you run 20's is the low profile tire with a very stiff sidewall.
Is the van suspension lowered ?
I doubt replacing the shock would made a difference. Shock function is to prevent suspension bouncing.

If you can, fit a set of stock 16's on your ride and see if there is any difference.

Good luck

Thanks for the response, the vans on standard suspension, not lowerd. Unfortunately I don't have access to 16s.
It seems the best bet is softer springs, any idea what springs to go for? Looking around I can only seem to find heavier duty ones, which I imagine would be even harder.
I'm in the UK so no parts or people with knowledge of these vans here. I have to get all parts sent from the US.
Many thanks

20" rims? Of course it's rough.

You would think, but had 20s on my 2000 model year Explorer conversion Express, it ran very smooth in comparison. I seems to me the 2010 model has much harder suspension.

Just curious, what size are the tires. I know they are 20's but what is the section width and aspect ratio?

Sweet van by the way...

Is the van lowered and riding on the bump stops?

Update..
Changed the shocks to a cheap set of KYBs. The van now rides better. It had some heavy duty monroes on it. The KYBs look light weight in comparison, but it's definitely smoother.
