How about a trip to your local Chevy dealer parts department and inquire about a replacement lens and ask to see the exploded view screen that should show how it is secured.
OK guys, I think I have it figured out. If you rotate the upper mirror all the way up and look into the gap at the bottom you will see two torx screws. Those need to be removed. Then I think the blindspot can be removed. You will then have access to a screw that holds the turn signal lens to the housing. Once the lens screw is removed you will now have access to the bulb.
I will take some photos and come back with better details.

Default 2011 Outside Mirror Turn Signal Bulb

OK guys,
This is what you need to do to replace the turn signal bulb in your outside rear view mirror.
