Hi all,

I’m struggling with an issue for my 2012 Chevy express 3500 4.8 L gas engine. The check engine light came on and so I had the code read and it says the code is for the EGR. 4 auto parts stores said they don’t make an EGR for this vehicle. Can anyone help with this or experience this? I need to get it fixed

 

it may not have came with one from the factory. what was the code number?

po496 is a code for the evap system not egr system
