Hoping someone can save me some time.. van runs fine. This started with an oit of the blue emissions issue with threat if power reduction and check engine light. Trued to scan and found no power. The next day the power reduction message was gone
. But still no power at obd2. I think i had a brief loss of gauges too
. But cant say for sure.
no power to obd2 or 12v power source on dash. Fuse #25 is good with full power there. Is there another fuse or feed for this im missing? Underhood fuse box is a bitch toget too.
Im hoping someone has ran into this and can save me the time of digging into this..
thank you

Thank you, but i found the problem.
This van has 2 fuses …. #25 controls the cig lighter and #73 is power port and obd2.. the cavity on #73 had corrosion in it. Fuse tested good but wouldnt make a good connection. Dielectric grease solved the problem..
at some point in this vans history the fuse panel has been under water.. I found alot of corrosion in many fuse sockets. I greased all of them and a few strange glitches went away.

Hi, I had a similar problem, everything was solved very simply, I replaced the spark plugs. In general, I recommend a technical inspection of the car and replacing faulty parts. On my car I installed LBZ Duramax Upgrades which suits me very well, now you can not look under the hood of your car for a long time. thank you
