I hope they are not and I hope this model stays around for some time otherwise I'll be making payments while there's something newer and better out there.

If GM were smart they would give GMC the new fancy Euro van and let Chevy keep the express (or vice versa). Would be the best of both and the consumer can pick what they want.

Yeah, but that's not really GM. They like to have their common parts, which has evolved into common builds with different labels. What would it take them to keep the same frame, drivetrain and simply build a squared up new body? Can't take much other than the expensive crash testing.

I do like your idea though... if GM had offered something North American in design, yet functional and fuel efficient I likely would have bought that over this. But you know, as dated as this design is... I like it. My van looks sharp, especially the face. I just wish black wasn't... showing so many dings and scratches, this this is a magnet for other people I swear.

How about the diesel from the Colorado/Canyon... I bet they haven't thought of that yet.
