I am installing a radio in my van and accidentally cut the wrong wire it seems. I was looking for an accessory wire and cut a brown wire under the dash, triggering the antitheft. Whenever I go to turn the vehicle on it doesn't attempt to crank and it will show the lock/car symbol on the dash.

I put the key in the ignition, turned it to on, and left it alone for 10 minutes and even 15 minutes.

I unplugged the battery for 15 minutes.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

The wire has been reconnected.

It is reconnected. The issue is still present.

 

It might need a Tech2 or equivalent diagnostic tool to reset it.
