we have a 2019 express 3500 extended 6L V8 OHV 16V FFV with 55k miles and dealer is struggling to find correct issue. Never had issues and on Sunday husband was driving back home and while driving the interstate he said the van felt like it was misfiring. Struggling at higher RPM, and the check engine and stabilitrack lights kept coming on. He got off the interstate and drive the back roads and at low RPMs it was struggling. Stopped by autozone and they ran codes P2312 and P0305. So next day took it to the dealer and they originally said control module and $700 to fix we argued emission warranty and they covered it. Picked it up and within a mile stuttering again so we returned to the dealer. Dropped it off and waited. Then we were called next day and told it was ignition coil so again we said covered by emissions warranty and they said no your van is only 50k (only by 5k) even reached out to corporate office and assistance was declined. So we paid $400 and picked up at end of day. 10 miles later into working it started doing the same stuff. So back to the dealer, so now 10 days later we still have no clue. I talked with the service advisor and he said the code it’s pulling says ignition coil but it’s new. And they don’t think transmission but maybe electrical so they will TRY to get to it tomorrow. I read 2019s have glitchy issues but really? Only 2 years old and 55k?? I feel like I bought a Ford in Chevy paint. Instead of Like a Rock it’s Found on Road Dead. Any advice?
