I am looking to buy this van from a local used car dealer. I am curious what you think of paying $17999 for it with 138k miles. It appears to be in good shape. I am wanting to convert it to a camper van. I am not a mechanic, I'm an old disabled veteran.

 

that's a lot of miles for a two year old van. If someone was hauling cargo with V6, then this engine has had a hard life. I wouldn't touch it without a thorough mechanical inspection. Compression test, diagnostic scan, the works. As for price I have no idea these days. You'll have to compare it to similar vans in the area.

 

Agreed. That is insane mileage for a two year old vehicle. Run the VIN and verify the build year. Also pull the CarFax and check the service records. Something isn’t right.
