4x4 conversion

4x4 conversion
Wanting to do a straight axle 4x4 conversion. Need to know what gear set and axle is in these things. I am planning on using a Ford Dana 50 or 60 with coils in the front and a np 205 divorce mount t case. Anyone do this and successfully calibrate speedo, retain abs, override traction control and stability trak?

I'd be interested in knowing any answers to this as well. I met a new friend with a 1500 AWD last night and he put it in my mind that next I'll be adding 4x4 or AWD to mine. After talking to him, I wish I did buy an AWD. I didn't know they had cylinder control on those motors. But then, I have weight capacity and pep... so I don't know.
He was telling me quigly? wants $30,000 for the conversion. Far too expensive for me. I'm not up on all the details, but a person can't just add an axle and transfercase from a pick up? I guess there's a lot of mods to be made. People do it though, but it's beyond my capabilities. Anyways, I'd love to hear feedback to the OP here.

Yes Quigley will do it for ~20k. That's not an option for me. Buying an already awd or 4wd is also not an option as I picked mine up cheap with 9865 miles. I do realize that this is a lot more than throw an axle in and bolt a tcase up. But I'd love to see someone who's done this.
