'86 G20 Power Window Not Going All The Way Up
I have replaced the passenger-side motor and window regulator but now the window does not rise up all the way! It gets mostly closed and then the half-moon gear on the regulator seems to run out of half-moon and maybe ten more teeth. The motor spins, the gear bounces and the window is still down an inch or so.
Do I have the motor installed wrong? It has a attachment plate maybe I put that on wrong?

There appears to be only one way to install the regulator. I could not figure out how to attach the motor to the regulator so I added holes to do this a bit backwards?
I guess I'm supposed to get the regulator shoved into the door, attach the motor to it, and *then* secure the regulator as the motor bolts are now hidden?? Well, were hidden.
I also added another hole at see the hub of the regulator gear, thinking there is a tab in place that kept it from rotating fully?
Thanks for any suggestions!
I added extra holes to make the motor install easy...(?)
