pull the abs fuse. this will stop the abs problem untill its fixed. You will still have regular service brakes but no abs interaction.

Dunno much of anything, but I'm guessing theres supposed to be a cover over those windings and the cover's still in the bore.

a spiral shaped wine cork remover is what i use to pull the cap out. some folks drill but be careful to not hit the reluctor

HOW do you get the hub nut off the rear?
There's spot for six spanner notches, and some type of tab.

 

Thanks- I got catastrophic level brake failure, rust hole.
I had to put a union in the line in a parking lot in the middle of nowhere.
I did install the new sensor and, best I can tell w 5% pedal it works.
