Hi there, thanks Canucklehead you are right, an old reefer is not the best, it has rusty channels on the back, an high roof, and probably very heavy. I passed on it, yesterday I bought an 97 powerstroke. Thanks for your advise.

Powerstroke is a solid engine. And Fords have good suspension and limited slip axles.
Beware the tranny though. That tranny is the weak link on that truck, so baby it and service it regular. Jack rabbit starts will eat it alive.
