Default After smog/dyno ABS light on

Hi

Posting for a Pal

2013 Express 3500 under a Roadtrek class B RV

dyno tested for emissions ( Arizona, 35 mph on rear wheel rollers, front wheels chocked, not strapped [like might hit a sensor] ) and post test the ABS, parking brake and stabilitrak lights are on

She thinks the tech during test was playing with the stabilitrak button
The smog test center offered no help.

No codes are shown, never the less she did a reset with OBD reader app ( OBDFusion)

No luck.

what are we missing?, van was fine before test
appears fine but unsure if the abs is working.

Thanks

Mike

Since it wasn't mentioned, did anyone check to make sure the parking brake pedal was all the way up? They are supposed to verify the parking brake holds when applied.

Also, if any wheel stopped faster than the other , the ESC system senses that and will cause the ESC to illuminate the lamp.

Thanks

parking brake pedal appears "normal" releases, comes all the way up

on a mercedes board, mention of a similar result after a dyno test, with 2 wheels rolling and the front wheels fixed- seems to confuse the computer(s)- so yes 2 wheels were stopped while the other 2 were moving.

I've done same test on my RV ( 2005 chev 3500 chassis, no stabilitrak) a number of times with no issue.

thanks, Mike

An expensive high level tool is required to read theses codes. Find a shop that provides complimentary scans.

So an app based OBD reader may not see or reset codes of this type as they may an engine sensor code ?

I know there is a Firestone near me which offers diagnostic screening- I wonder if their machine/expertise is superior

Thanks, Mike

Interfacing brake modules, restraint modules, transmission modules, etc. requires additional hardware and software licensing that the low end tools simply don't have.
