I was looking on ebay for some side mirrors with a turn signal ,

But they all say different years that they fit ,

some say 2003 - 2017 , 08-13 , 03-07 , etc

So when do they change ?

do they all mount to the door the same ?

or is the mirror not the same ?

sorry I am confused !

 

1aAuto has replacement mirrors with fitments for 03-19 model years. So no change in the mounting bolts. Below is just one style offered.

Wiring options may have changed of the years. I do know that the wiring harness and connector for power mirror controls, heated glass, and turn signal exists (taped in the door panel) with models equipped with the rear defroster, even if the van was optioned from the factory with manual mirrors. Just remove the tape securing the connector and plug the new mirror into it. Should work without a hiccup.

 

Absolutely not the same. In reality, we probably have the most mirrors to choose from. There are so many different ones. You might not realise until you start watching for them. Remember, these trucks where built for the consumer and the commercial market over a twenty year span from a 1500 model up to a 5500 model. I suppose the inconvenient Truth is that there is not... many high end desirable mirrors, like the pick ups have.
