Default Anyone ever mount a full bench in the front row?

Looking to see if anyone successful installed a bench seat in the front of an express van. I know this sounds like a silly idea because the engine cover and the cup holders would eliminate any possible leg room. But I mainly have the thought because me and the wife have a baby on the way. I will have to drop off to daycare in the morning and she will pick up. I believe the baby seat can be mounted in the passenger seat ( with the airbag shut off) But sometimes I have a worker or someone else that needs to get in. So I’m looking to do a bench and keep the seat secured in the middle seat... this is a work van. So I have shelving and no seats or windows in the back.

dont rip me apart on this one. Im just thinking of ideas. If it’s not safe then it’s not an option of course

thanks for any input
