Default Power Seat Install

Well I was I able to get some work done on the GMC Express today.....
I had a couple weeks back went to my buddies Junk Yard and picked
up some Power Seats... I finally installed them today.. and I LOVE THEM...
not only are they power but they have the valuable arm rest.. too ....
you just dont know what you have till you dont have it any longer... lol
I cant imagine driving a CAR , TRUCK , VAN... or what ever and not being
able to rest your arm on Something while driving.. lol
any ways here are some pics of the install.....

I started out having to run the power wire from the fuse box under the
drivers seat to the passenger side seat area.. there is an X cut out
under the passenger seat just for the wires to come up threw...
so that really was easy...provided you had the tool I have
I use this tool for running cable wires and electrical wires in
the house.. it has come in handy... at many times with different
projects.

I solder up all my connections after I crimp them.
I use 20 amp breakers off the main power
under the drivers seat.

Teammuir1, power seats are really a rare option in these vans. Very rarely a boss orders this for their employees

Looks like you need this too - https://www.ebay.com/itm/182689986156

ARTIE1 I have them actually...
I just have not put that side back on ....
well lets rephrase that..
when I went to put the cover back on
I noticed that the other part the lower part..
might be broken... I am not sure as of yet...
I wanted to go back to the junk yard...
and check out the lower part... it has 2 big screws
that go in and hold it against the door....
my thought is were the screw goes in
there is plastic missing.
but again I need to check that out..
the big screw does nothing to hold that part on
on my drivers side and I already have the passenger side on
so I have not taking the time to take the passenger side back off
and inspect it.....

I searched around for these ( Speed Nuts )... and I swear every place calls them something
different... but anyways... I thought I had found what I needed.. and they ended up being
the wrong size... what I am running up against is if I order them from the internet I have to
order a bag of them .. and I really dont need a bag of 20... I just need 4 ....
I found a good bolts... but not the right size nuts... check out the pics.,
Guess I will keep calling around.. the dealer no longer has the part I used
the part number that ARTIE1 gave me.... yet the dealer changed that number
and then no longer has them.. ( My luck ) lol I call Fastenal .... they
want to sell me the hole bag... so next stop will be NAPA.. .today after
work... hopefully they will have a Dorman box... that will have the length
I need. then I can get this battery box mounted up...

Well I also had to buy a bag of 25 for $9. Search eBay for 11500661. No running around, saves a lot of time.
